WIDE Angles

I’ve been enjoying the new lens because wide angles make landscapes and you can just take a picture of everything at once it seems. Here is a picture of the soccer game Saturday night.

New Lens and…

…a new job, kinda. I started interning at the school paper and my first assignment was this past Saturday was the women’s soccer game. I needed a bigger lens to get better shots of sports but with some creative cropping I got some good images.

This is one of the first images that I took with my new lens. I was doing some macro stuff and this came out pretty cool.

Denton Courthouse and Fire Engine

A Picture I took on my way to the Denton Arts and Jazz Festival. I really like the colors and the composition.

Snow?? in Texas?!?!

Yesterday we had snow. Not the usual 50 flakes that melt just before hitting the ground but real snow. In Denton around the UNT campus it was about 6-9 inches. The pictures above were taken just after it started snowing. Campus closed at 2 p.m. on Thursday and did not reopen on Friday.
