I had some second thoughts about one of the pictures I took of my nephew and cropped and touched it up just a little and think I came up with something nice.

In Germany we found that the childrens TV station (Kika Lounge – kinda like Toon Network) went off the air at 9 PM and only came back on at 6 AM. The character everyone is surrounding was their headline character and starred in a bizarre 15 segment that looped all night.


We watched it for hours.

On the door of the cathedral in Erfurt, Germany. Out of all the door handles this was the only one like this.

So, I’m here in Germany having a blast!  I’ve gotten a little behind in updating the blog lately, but I’m catching up.  Here’s a few pictures from the first week.  Or just go here to check out all my pictures as I upload them.

Heres a normal street in Frankfurt. We were there for a short time between our flight and our train leaving.

A statue of Goethe in Leipzig where I am staying. This was in the “down town” section. The buildings are all amazing.

This was in Berlin. A great view over the Jewish Holocaust memorial, and you can see the Reichstag building in the background.

In Berlin we got to eat at the most famous Curry Wurst stand in Germany. It was pretty awesome.

This is the Berlin Dome Church. I really can’t thing of the words to explain how beautiful the inside was. The amount of history that the crypt held was quite insane!

Just a bit of silliness as we were walking back to the train station in Berlin.




On Saturday we got to go to Wittenburg during the festival of the celebration of Luthor’s marriage. Lots of history there. Luthor is the guy that started the whole Protestant reformation by nailing a thesis he had written (the 95 Thesis) to the church door. This is a picture of that door, or at least the door way with the thesis on it.

Then on Sunday a few of us got to go to the Porshe factory in Leipzig. They make the Cayennes here. (the SUV’s) Yea, it was awesome.

Last weekend was a very interesting one indeed. It involved a factory, some laughter, and a Twinky-Weener-Sandwich. I went with Christian and Harmony and friends to eat at the Cheesecake Factory, which was awesome. Then we went to a “Second Chance” Prom. Danced, laughed and had a lot of fun.





I had my camera so many pictures were taken.






After we finished dancing to YMCA, we headed over to Josh Davis’s Graduation party and had some good times. Interesting people and food were the order of the night.

A Picture I took on my way to the Denton Arts and Jazz Festival. I really like the colors and the composition.

Lack of posts is due to being sick. Sucks, but oh well.

Sunday the March 30th we had a birthday party for my 2-year-old nephew Aeryck. Here we see that he prefers to swing by leaning as far forward as possible.



Even though he always has his “Greeny Bear” with him. He still gets distracted and abandons him sometimes.



The first animals that they came to were the flamingos. Aeryck was pretty happy about it.


I started having some fun with my big lens and took a few “wildlife” photographs.

It’s always funny to see the various things that are placed on babies in the name of “cute!”

My current project in photography is color. The color wheel that we are working with is a little different from the normal one.

But, this week is spring break and I am needing to put a bit of time into cleaning up my space, so I really hope I get some time to go out and find some cool stuff to shoot.

This past weekend the crew got together and played us some mini golf! Out at Mountasia the coarse is pretty awesome, going through the mountain, all the edges of the putting areas are rocky so you have no idea witch way it’s going to bounce.
